While it is excellent for preschoolers, this product is ideal for use as soon as you bring baby home. Play Phonics with Dr. Alphabet 10 to 15 minutes a day. For children under two years of age, play Phonics with Dr. Alphabet while they are in the play pen, swing, or infant seat. This product was designed to reduce or eliminate the typical stress associated with teaching young children to read. Neither the 22 month old or the parents in the commercial were frustrated throughout this process. Parents, don't be alarmed if your child doesn't watch program as often as you would like, that's okay! Their interest will heighten as the sounds and imagery become more familiar and as their learning skills progress.

For children three years and up, you might play 15 to 20 minutes at bedtime (most children would rather see something than a dark room). Have child watch before you take them to their favorite fast food store or before play time. You will be amazed at the results and their success in school.
