I was formerly a single dad of five beautiful children, now I have seven in all. Believe me when I say that I have a lot of respect for the job of parenting. It's not easy. One thing is for sure, next to showing affection, training is the bottom line for a parent!

My 22 month old was featured in the video. He had a firm grasp of phonics before he was two! There was one main priority when my children were growing up: to train them for success. The more you train your child for success, the more you increase the chances that he will get there!

That's the motivation behind Phonics with Dr. Alphabet. I believe that reading skills are essential not only to a child's success in life but also to his confidence in himself. Reading important, and the earlier a child feels confident at it, the better. I understood that my two-year old was well on his way to a bright future because he is conquering early in life one of the MOST IMPORTANT LIFE TOOLS, his reading skills.

As parents, we desire to see our children lead prosperous and successful lives as adults. Truly educated children carry that into their adult lives...AND THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL!

Now that my children are older, it's easy to see how everything that came with parenting while they were young has been worth it.
